It was noticeable that the F.C Hitmen players were anxious to play their first PCSL game of the season. It wasn’t long before Hitmen began to score, the first goal of the season was 8 minutes into the game, #9 Luis Andrade scored off a corner kick by #4 Daniel Guerreiro.
Just 7 minutes later at the 15 minute mark, #20 Nelson Ferreira went all alone and shot over the cross bar. Hitmen took over the game and at the 22nd minute , #22 Anthony Malfara scored off a header and it was 2-0 for the Hitmen. Just before the end of the first half a penalty shot was awarded to the Hitmen, but #10 Fabio Amorim didn’t capitalize.
Second half started slow as the Hitmen tried to move the ball around to control the game and at the 59 minute, #23 Ricardo Ribeiro strike from 25 yards out nothing the goal tender could do but watch as the ball glided into the back of the net.
As the final whistle blew it was 3-0, F.C Hitmen has won convincingly.
Coach Santos felt the FC HITMEN were prepared for this game, and he was pleased with the outcome.
